A girl with an extra year of education can earn 20 percent more as an adult.
What’s at Stake?
We have all been confronted by challenges even though we are committed to improving our lives. With each challenge we face, we grow stronger and more confident in our ability to overcome. But we rarely go through that journey of self-discovery alone – and neither should the scholars of our program. It’s our responsibility to pay it forward.
Every day, there are women around us working hard just to stay above water. They pay their bills, keep a roof over their heads, and provide for themselves and for their children.
If you could make a difference by providing support to a woman who is committed to a future without government assistance; who is working to attain her professional goals; and gaining confidence and creating a positive path for herself and her family — would you be willing to make that difference.
Each donation we receive is a small lifebridge for women to move toward economic stability, personal growth and professional achievement.
If you wish to mail your donation, please make checks payable to Positive Paths c/o Trust Bank, 1525 S Greenfield Road, Mesa AZ 85206. Or contact us to make an in-kind donation.
The Impact of your Dollar
We all may have access to higher education, but for few it’s actually a reality without significant financial support. But the benefits of higher education remain the same: higher wages, better health, and a lower likelihood of requiring disability payments. A person armed with higher educated also confers wide-ranging benefits to the economy, such as lower rates of unemployment and higher wages even for workers without college degrees.*
