Lalitha Immaneni is a Vice President of Engineering in the Assembly Test Technology Development organization for Intel Corporation. Lalitha manages the “Architecture, Design & Technology Solutions” team that spans multiple geographies (USA, Malaysia and India). She is responsible for substrate/silicon-assembly and board design rule development, designing building blocks for emerging package technologies, electrical and physical design methodologies for packaging, product package designs execution, product electrical analysis support and drives package product architectures for Intel. Lalitha owns a centralized package and board flows/tools and enables EDA eco system readiness for Intel’s packaging and board design needs. She manages packaging roadmap for Intel.
Lalitha is a global leader and role model with a stellar track record of 30 years of technical achievement in the high-tech industry in the areas of design tools development and package design process. She has led many “firsts,” including helping define the first industry EDA packaging tool, and leading package co-design for the first Foveros and EMIB products. She is currently focused on EDA eco system enablement, interoperable formats, and standards for chiplets.
As a staunch believer of DEI initiatives, Immaneni volunteers extensively as a coach and mentor for Positive Paths, a non-profit organization serving women in Phoenix. She is a member of Positive Paths scholarship committee and helped several mentees with their career progression. She is a co-chair for the Intel Network of Executive Women (iNEW) board with an emphasis on women exec retention and networking. Realizing that retention of senior women can be a challenge, she kicked off a focused “warmline” for senior women to be able to confidentially reach out for help with challenges they encounter in the work environment. She is an executive co-sponsor for the Intel Network of Intel African Ancestry (NIA).
Lalitha is on the board of prestigious Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) sponsored by the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) and aspires to increase the number of women leaders and entrepreneurs in the semiconductor industry. She helps young women engineers by aligning them with coaching from industry leaders.
As a strong proponent of sponsorship, Lalitha provides career mentoring and coaching for women at Intel across India, Malaysia and US. Several of her mentees are now Senior Directors and Principal Engineers at Intel and various other industries. She speaks at Industry events on the importance of growing women in engineering. She holds a master’s degrees in computer science from Arizona State University with an emphasis on computer graphics & software engineering.
On behalf of the Positive Paths Board of Directors, we want to extend our sincere gratitude for your contributions at the Gala which helped us raise more than $150,000. Your generous support will have a major impact on helping the women we serve. We couldn’t have done it without you.
