Angelica started with Positive Paths in fall 2020 seeking a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from Arizona State University. She is a single mom and earned excellent grades while attending school full-time and raising her young daughter. She graduated from ASU in Spring 2022 and is studying this summer to get her DTR (Dietetic Technician, Registered) certification and then plans to work as a Dietetic Technician. Angelica overcame an eating disorder which led her to become passionate in the nutrition field. Her experiences with the other women she encountered during her struggles helped her become interested in eating disorders, nutrition, and health. "I am praying that God has a plan for me in this field so I can continue to care for my daughter and be a great role model for her."
